Description
After many, many alterations, and a lot of thinking about what my inner visions were, I think I finally came up with something that proves there's actually something in my mind beside blank space! This is a nightmare I have had only once, but it's also something I am constantly thinking about: getting pregnant. I realize that millions of other women think about that as well, but this is my biggest inner fear. So, enjoy my fear!
Oh, and this was done for *FrozenStarRo's current contest, entitled "Inner Visions".

I dream of you, my child:
Dream every detail 'till
I know you are my own.
My gaze lingers on your eyes:
Mine, soft and golden,
Serious in your small face.
For a moment, my fingers
Brush aside your hair-
Spun sunlight haloes your head.
In an instant, I can feel
I have loved you
For years and years.
But why the fear
Flickering across your face-
My son, my future?
Why, in all my dreaming,
Do I never stand
There beside you?
