Whoa! Eerie - as in, that is almost the exact image that song puts in MY head, which I have been trying (and failing) to recreate for some time now. I don't know if it is just how specific the words are, but wow... it's kind of spooky how similar my image is. The only difference is that I always imagined the house to be in front of a lake - even so, there's nothing in your (amazingly done, by the way!) manipulation to suggest that there ISN'T a lake there...

Hah, well thank you very much, and you're right--there could be a lake! A dark, creepy lake would definitely add to the atmosphere. I want to see your recreations of it now! It's been a while since I've seriously gone browsing through your gallery. The funny thing is, I never really liked that song until recently. I mean, yes, it's KEANE, so I accepted it, and the lyrics are genius (Tim=awesome song-writer), but it was so different that I couldn't like it. Then UTIS came out and their sound was different, so I revisited a lot of their songs that I'd never really clicked with--low and behold, LOVE!

You're welcome! Oh dear, my gallery embarrasses me - it's been so long since I have updated it. I haven't been too successful at my interpretation of that song but I will have to give it a try again... I'll certainly show you if i manage to succeed!
Sometimes I like Untitled 1 (couldn't they have come up with a title?) better than other times... I find it kind of annoying and depressing when I'm in a happy mood but sometimes it makes me shiver...
